ESEM Roundtables are small-scale sessions for the consortium partners of the European Social Enterprise Monitor. The aim is to provide the partners a space to meet, connect and exchange knowledge on specific topics pertinent to the project.
This session is dedicated to the topic of data analysis and more importantly, discussing the (first) outcomes of the monitor. How is the analysis progressing? What are the first insights we found this year? What are the general trends found? Were there unexpected outcomes? Each partner has a different capacity for data analysis and operates in a different national context. The aim of this session is to exchange knowledge and best practices.
Peter Vandor is senior researcher and lecturer at WU Vienna, co-founder and head of the Social Entrepreneurship Center. In his position at the WU, he is been leading 100+ collaboration projects around research, capacity building, impact assessment and innovation, with partners such as the United Nations Development Programme, the Austrian Ministry of Social Affairs, Fraunhofer Ventures, Robert Bosch Foundation and CERN. Since 2013, he is Academic Director of the NGO Academy, a capacity building program for nonprofits and social enterprises offered in partnership with ERSTE Foundation.
His research focuses on social entrepreneurs and their ecosystem, as well as immigrant entrepreneurship, and has been published in leading management journals including Journal of Business Venturing, Journal of World Business and Harvard Business Review.
